Valle Verde Elementary School serves nearly 500 students from Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. At VVE, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and academically rich environment where every child is encouraged to explore, grow, and reach their full potential. The Valle Verde PTA plays an essential role in bringing this vision to life. Through fundraising and community sponsorships, the PTA supports programs that fall outside the school district’s budget, including Garden Science, Art Education, and Physical Education. These programs are led by professionals, run year-round and benefit every student on campus.
Beyond enrichment, the PTA also funds critical staff positions—such as five Instructional Aides and one Reading Intervention Specialist—who provide personalized support and directly enhance student learning. In addition, we help fund technology upgrades, classroom supplies, and playground equipment. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we rely on the support of parents, community members, and local businesses. Every contribution—of time or funds—directly impacts our students’ success.
This is why the PTA hosts the Spring Fling Auction, the biggest and most exciting fundraiser of the year for VVE. Spring Fling is more than just a fun night out in silly costumes— it’s the main event that funds the important projects and programs that make VVE such a special place for our kids.
It’s also one of our favorite traditions — a chance to connect with friends, meet new families, and celebrate the incredible work of our dedicated VVE teachers and administrators.

What happens if I buy a non-drinker ticket but change my mind later? This is a fundraiser for an elementary school, so naturally, we operate on an honor system! We will assume that you’ll buy the all-you-can-drink wristband for $50 at the event.
